The goods:
• striped top from Forever21
• pleated skirt from H&M
• leopard print belt from Forever21 (most of the belts there are only $3.50!)
• tan booties from Zara
• vintage sunglasses from Paris
• gold chain bracelet from J.Crew
• IGWT gold bangle
• gold disk earrings from Valentina, Winnetka

Wearing this top always reminds me of France (of course, I could probably twist anything into a Parisian daydream). It's just a simple top I picked up at Forever21 here in Chicago, but I did wear it a bunch when I was in Paris (where I think it's required to don stripes on your first visit), so it will forever be associated thanks to our hundreds of photos. But my favorite thing I'm wearing today can't be seen in photos ... the perfume I picked out at the Galimard perfumery in Eze, France. Galimard is one of France's oldest perfumeries (they even supplied the court of Louis XV with fine scents!) and has literally hundreds of amazing concoctions to choose from. It was so hard not to buy everything I wanted, but I settled on Cantabelle ... a mix of fruity orange blossom, black currant and flowers. This blend even has a very subtle shimmer in the perfume, which I think makes it extra special! I love the subtle scent, and the flood of memories it brings back every time I wear it. I guess I'll just have to head back to France for more after I run out, geeze–fine–twist my arm.
